KMU | base 1.2: payroll filing packs, approvals

Available now: version 1.2 with ready-made filing packs for each recipient, four-eyes approval by your own rule and shared checklists in every app.
Version 1.2 is available now. With version 1.2, the payroll of HR | base gives you a ready-made filing pack per recipient and period: AHV/AVS and family allowance fund, insurers, pension fund, withholding tax, tax administration, Federal Statistical Office and unemployment fund. On top come four-eyes approvals by your own rule and shared checklists in every app.
Payroll: a ready pack for every recipient
- Filing packs per recipient and period: AHV/AVS and the family allowance fund, accident, daily sickness benefit and supplementary insurers, pension fund, withholding tax, tax administration (salary certificates), the wage structure survey of the Federal Statistical Office and the statement to the unemployment fund.
- In the portal’s format where HR | base provides it: the EAK wage declaration file, the import file for eQuest in the canton of Zurich and the annual list for ISeL in Geneva. For all other recipients the pack contains a PDF with every value per person and the totals to enter in the portal.
- With instructions, deadline and status: you download the pack, open the portal and mark the filing as submitted. The filing calendar shows what is due and when.
- Family allowances by place of work: the allowances and the filing pack follow the canton of the place of work and its family allowance fund, with the cantonal scales.
- Wage garnishment and maintenance assignment: you set up further accounts, payment orders, an assignment for maintenance (Art. 325 CO) or a garnishment (Art. 93 DEBA) with the minimum subsistence amount set by the debt enforcement office.
- Pay in euros: for further accounts and payment orders you transfer in EUR; you enter the pay-day exchange rate in the pay run, and the payslip shows the amount, rate and date.
- Short-time work and bad-weather compensation: record the approval and the lost hours; the pay run calculates the compensation, the waiting period and the social insurance, and the statement is ready as a filing pack.
Good to know: payroll calculation according to the guidelines of the Swiss payroll standard (ELM 6.0). Swissdec certification has not yet taken place; electronic transmission via Swissdec is therefore not yet available. You submit the packs to the recipients yourself.
Four-eyes approval by your own rule
Under Settings › Users and roles › Approvals you decide for each sensitive action whether one person may carry it out alone or a second authorised person has to confirm, for actions with an amount if you wish only above a limit, and with exceptions for people or roles. This applies, for example, to the pay run, the employment reference, supplier invoices and the payment file to the bank (bank connection). If only one person has the necessary rights, that person carries it out alone; the log records it. Approvals prescribed by law always stay at two.
Shared checklists in every app
Checklists for any topic, such as year-end closing, a trade fair or customer onboarding: start empty, from templates or from your own templates, with sub-items, due date, responsible person and, with Docu | base, a Docu document. You change the order by dragging, and progress is always visible.
