Overview

Sales | base › Overview

Shows what needs attention today: cases awaiting approval, hot deals, tasks due and deals without a next step. On the right are the pipeline totals per currency and the latest background runs.

Step by step

  1. Choose one of the four tiles at the top: cases, hot deals, tasks or deals without a next step.
  2. Review waiting cases directly in the card, then approve them, postpone them until tomorrow or reject them.
  3. For a deal without a next step, click “Plan step”.
  4. Use “All cases”, “All tasks” or “Open in deals” to go to the full list.
  5. Below the tabs, the key figures show what needs attention: open invoiced amounts including overdue ones, the follow-up automation (sent today, running or off), newsletter sending with the monthly quota, delivery per sender domain as a traffic light, and the social planner. Each card leads to the matching page and only appears if you may see it. A red line reports when the mailbox check has not run for longer than expected.

Customise overview

Sales | base › Overview › Customise overview

Everyone arranges their own overview: show or hide tiles and side panels and put them in the order they want.

Step by step

  1. Click “Customise overview”.
  2. Show or hide items with the checkbox.
  3. Change the order with the arrows.
  4. Click “Save”.

Sales overview key figures

Sales | base › Overview › Key figures

The Sales start page shows the figures that lead to an action: replies and enquiries, hot deals, tasks, open invoiced amounts, the state of the follow-up automation, sending status with quota, delivery per sender domain, and the social planner.

Step by step

  1. Open Sales: the key figures are in the overview.
  2. Click a card to jump straight to the matching list, for example open replies or hot deals.
  3. The “Delivery per sender domain” card shows good, watch or critical for each domain and whether delivery is on hold.

My work queue

Sales | base › Overview › “To do today” › “With reasons” (or sidebar › More › My work queue)

Shows what needs your attention now: due and overdue tasks, inactive deals, deals without a next step, new leads and unread mentions. Every recommendation states its reason, for example “Quote without response for 7 days”.

Step by step

  1. Click a tile at the top to jump to that section.
  2. For an inactive deal or a deal without a step, read the reason and click “Schedule task” or “Schedule follow-up” – the task is created for the next working day at 09:00.
  3. If required fields are missing or the close date has passed, open the deal and complete it.
  4. Review new leads via “Open lead”.

Set up work queue and cards

Sales | base › My work queue › Set up rules

Defines after how many days without activity a deal counts as inactive (default, per stage, hot deals, quotes) and which fields – up to four – the kanban cards show per pipeline.

Step by step

  1. Under “Inactivity”, enter the days for the default, hot deals and quotes; empty fields per stage use the default.
  2. Click “Save” – the next background run notifies the deal owners.
  3. Under “Kanban cards”, choose up to four fields per pipeline in the order you want, including custom fields.
  4. Confirm with “Save”; the cards show the fields straight away.

Notifications

Bell in the header at the top right › All notifications

Collects mentions in comments, lead and deal assignments, tasks due today and alerts about inactive deals. The bell at the top right shows the number of unread notifications.

Step by step

  1. Click the bell to see the latest eight notifications.
  2. Click a notification: it is marked as read and the record opens.
  3. Clear the list with “Mark all as read”.

Search and keyboard shortcuts

Quick search (⌘K) › “All results in Sales”, or the “/” key anywhere in Sales

Searches contacts, deals, leads and custom objects including custom text fields. Keyboard shortcuts let you move between Sales areas without a mouse. Search lists can be operated with the arrow keys and Enter; results, confirmation prompts and errors are announced to screen readers.

Step by step

  1. In Sales press “/” or open the “Search” page.
  2. Enter at least two characters, for example a name, email, phone number or deal title, and click “Search”.
  3. Click a result to open the contact, deal, lead or object.
  4. Press “g” followed by “d”, “k”, “l”, “p” or “a” to jump to deals, contacts, leads, desk or tasks; “?” shows all shortcuts.
