Accruals and deferrals
Finance | base › Accruals and deferrals
You record accruals and deferrals without VAT in CHF. Finance posts the reversal on the first day of the next month or financial year. If the year is missing or the period is locked, it remains pending and is retried later. The mobile API contract for app 1.2.1 supports viewing, creating and cancelling accruals from iOS build 34 or Android build 51. Reading requires finance.nutzen; changes also require finance.buchen for the relevant company. Automatic reversal follows the same rules as the web portal.
Step by step
- Record an accrual or deferral
- Type / Income or expense account / Accrual or deferral account
- Reversal
- Post
Compound postings with up to 500 lines
Finance | base › Compound postings with up to 500 lines
Add or remove journal lines. Debit, credit and difference update continuously. The server calculates in whole cents and rejects any difference. All lines appear in the journal, account ledger and exports; closing reports include every movement. Each posting uses one shared currency and exchange rate. The mobile API contract for app 1.2.1 supports viewing and creating CHF postings from iOS build 34 or Android build 51. At least two lines are required with no fixed line limit; the web form remains limited to 500 input lines. Reading requires finance.nutzen; creation also requires finance.buchen for the company. Locked periods and unequal debit and credit totals prevent posting.
