Reviews & development
Performance reviews
HR | base › People › Reviews (HR) or Team reviews (line managers)
Lists the review cycles of the people you review or manage, with cycle, type (Annual, Probation period, Leaving), due date and status. In an individual review, line managers record the manager assessment, the meeting minutes and SMART goals; HR opens reviews and maintains the form templates. The form shows open criteria and the last saved time. Leaving with unsaved changes requires confirmation. Saving a web draft checks and advances the revision. Another window with an older revision receives a conflict message instead of overwriting newer work.
Step by step
- Open “Reviews” or “Team reviews” in the menu.
- HR: under “Open review”, choose the person, form template, cycle, review type and due date, then confirm.
- In the “Review cycles” list, click the name to open the review.
- Use “Save draft” to save incomplete answers. “Complete evaluation” requires a rating and justification for every criterion; open criteria are highlighted.
- Once both assessments are available, record the minutes and SMART goals under “Meeting and goals” and click “Save meeting and goals”.
- “Confirm meeting” records acknowledgement; the review is then locked.
- After completing the manager assessment, you go directly to the discussion and goals section. The self-assessment is shown here only after you complete your own assessment. Hold the discussion and record the minutes and goals.
Recurring review cycles
HR | base › People › Reviews › Recurring cycles
Sets up annual, six-monthly or one-off cycles for everyone or for selected companies or departments. Before the reference date, a daily step opens the reviews with the best-fitting template for each person and sends bell reminders for the self-assessment, manager assessment and meeting. The overview shows each cycle’s progress for the current round.
Step by step
- Open “Reviews” and expand “Create new cycle” under “Recurring cycles”.
- Enter the name, frequency and reference date of the meeting.
- Set the lead time and the deadlines for the self-assessment and manager assessment in days before the reference date.
- Choose the target group and one or more form templates, then “Create cycle”.
- Follow progress (open, self-assessment, manager assessment, meeting, confirmed) in the list; if needed, “End cycle”.
Development & career
HR | base › People › Employees › Person › tab “Development & career”
Shows the person’s goals, further training and career steps together with qualifications, certificates and completed trainings.
Step by step
- Open the tab “Development & career”.
- Under “New entry”, add a goal, further training or career step with date and optional deadline.
- Close entries once achieved.
Licences and certificates
HR | base › People › Permits & qualifications
Matrix of all people with their licences and certificates (e.g. driving licence, forklift licence) and their validity. It shows what is expiring soon or has expired; expired certificates can block scheduling for assignments.
Step by step
- Open “Permits & qualifications” in the menu.
- Narrow the list with “Search person” or “Only those needing action”.
- Click a cell to record or change a certificate with issue date, “Valid until”, number and remark.
- Use “Create licence type” to define a new type with abbreviation, reminder before expiry and blocking effect.
- Use “Send reminder to HR” to report certificates expiring soon by email.
The next step starts with a conversation.
